NO SOLICITING IN ROBODA
Posted on Jan 14th, 2014
Although we have clearly stated on a sign along the entrance to Roboda, NO SOLICITING. It doesn't seem to stop all solicitors.

If you see someone distributing materials (flyers, brochures, business cards) or going door to door, please remind them that Roboda is Private Property and we do not allow solicitation.  If they would like to promote their business or services to Roboda residents they can do so by mail or by placing an advertisment in the Roboda Newsletter.

Roofing Guidance
Posted on Jan 14th, 2014
The approved replacement asphalt roofing for all of Roboda are asphalt shingles manufactured by CertainTeed Corporation. An Architectural request form must be submitted to the Architectural Committee prior to any work being performed. The form is available on the Roboda website. All residents that have questions about the maintenance of or replacement of asphalt shingles are encouraged to visit the CertainTeed website at www.CertainTeed.com. Click on Roofing for specific areas of interest. There is a Roofing Learning Center that provides answers to frequently asked questions such as mold and mildew on the roofs, shingle underlayment application, cleaning of asphalt shingles, and when asphalt shingles need replacement.
Window Installation Solicitation
Posted on Jan 14th, 2014
It has come to the attention of the Roboda Community Association that individuals on behalf of a window company have been soliciting residents regarding the installation of new windows and offering free estimates. Part of their sales pitch indicates that they have been approved to install windows in Roboda.

First, soliciting is not permitted in Roboda and it would benefit the entire community for you to make that known to individuals coming to your door conducting any form of solicitation.

Secondly, the Association has not and will not pre-approve any contractor to conduct work in Roboda. Even if a contractor suggests they have previously received approval to do similar work for other homeowners, this previous approval does not extend to work on any other home or guarantee approval for the work on any other home.

Please remember that prior to making any exterior change to your home, you are required to comply with the Association’s product and installation specifications and obtain approval from the Association's Board of Directors following the review and recommendation of the Architectural Committee. Do not initiate any work without first submitting a request to the Architectural Committee and receiving approval from the Association's Board of Directors. In regard to the installation of windows, only Pella windows (fiberglass, wood or aluminum clad) are approved for installation. Vinyl windows of any kind, because they can not be reliably painted, are not permitted to be installed. All approved Pella windows can be purchased and installed via Pella windows, Lowes or a private contractor.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of the Association’s Board of Directors.
